SV was invited to a very small birthday party for her friend. She was so excited that she went and tried out a couple of different dresses to see which she liked best. After being locked down for so long any excuse was a big one to get dressed up a bit.
The kids had waaay too much energy so off we went to the park. They climbed all over everything and managed to use up at least some of that excess energy. They were much better after.
What do you do with kids like these? One just wants to draw and draw and get her photographs taken. Another one doesn't want photos at all. And the third one is too fabulous to just sleep in bed, she has to sleep across the couch as well. We suppose we just love them as they are.
These box foxes made some pretty comfortable burrows out of some big boxes. They brought out pillows, blankets and books. They even had a couple of snacks in there just in case.
The girls were in the backyard for a while and created some interesting art. MV made a papier-mache teddy bear. SV made a face out of random pieces of nature that she found. EV made a sling for her arm, we're not quite sure about this one, but at least she knows how to make a sling.
The girls used the some old boxes and pillows to make a lounge outside so they could read. They both enjoyed being able to lay back and read outside, particularly as it was such a nice day.
SV was running a salon upstairs for her sisters. She was curling and styling hair. Also a head massage was on offer. Luckily no hair cutting or dyeing took place this time.
