Everyone's back home again

After what felt like a long time everyone was home again. The flight home was a good one with everyone getting some rest, but by dinner time everyone was tired again. Some more than others of course.

More film joy

In these photographs MV is just recently born until about 5 months old while SV is about 4 years old. Looking back and seeing these photographs for the first time it is hard to believe they have both matured so much so quickly.

Back to film

We just developed a couple of rolls of film that we have used and found some fantastic photographs. It was a pure joy to find these photographs of SV when she was just 2.5 or 3 years old. There is certainly a resemblance to MV and EV there. These photographs just reinforce the joy of using film, not only for the style but also the surprise once developed.

MV's trip to the US

Here is a brief photo essay of MV's trip to the US this time around. To be fair she did not take many photographs this time.

Riding the metro back

After a brief wander around Tallawong Station we caught the metro back to our car. This time we gave other people the option to be in the front and we just sat back and enjoyed the ride. The nicest section was the elevated viaduct which afforded some nice views of the hills district we were riding through.

Riding the metro

SV and TV stopped to ride the metro since it was on the way home. They were both excited to finally ride it and naturally they stood in the front so they could see out of the window since there is no driver. First impression was quite good with a nice smooth ride, the nicest thing was how quiet it was.

SV's first solo trail ride

SV finally got to go on a trail ride riding her own horse. Up to this point she only rode with someone else or doing lessons. She was really proud and enjoyed herself. She did really well, particularly when the horse got spooked and cantered down the trail. She wasn't scared and rode very well until the horse slowed back down. Afterwards we made the mandatory vending machine stops before having a quick lunch.
