Lazing in the afternoon

After visiting Cachtice in the morning we went back and relaxed a bit, some of us a bit more than others. Then we went to the park in the warm evening to run off some energy before dinner. Quite pleasant really.

Cachtice revisited

This time we didn't go visit the castle this time, but we did have a chance to visit the museum and tunnels. This made KT really excited as she has wanted to do that for ages. Pretty much since we started coming to Slovakia, but she has always been thwarted by some circumstance. We all enjoyed our outing including Andula who came along too. SV also lucked out as there was a proper carnie camp with rides set up. She had a lot of fun on the swings which the carnie spun around to spice it up a bit more.

MV and Vikki meet again

MV and Vikki met last year and they sort of smiled at each other then. Now they met again and they are a lot more mobile now so it was interesting to see how they played together. SV also got to play with her friend Patka who she really missed since our last visit. It was a good first visit though.

Visiting Teta Andula

We visited Auntie (Teta) Andula who prepared a feast for us for lunch. She has redecorated her house quite a bit since we stayed there in October last year. It looks great. She also had quite a few activities for MV and SV which they enjoyed. SV of course liked drawings while MV was naturally attracted to the wooden flute to maximise her noise making potential. To be fair, she also enjoyed drawing as well. It was all still a bit too much and they both ended up having good naps before getting into it again.

TV's old playground

Things have not changed much since TV used to play at this playground as a kid. It made it fun to see MV and SV playing on the same exact structures. The slide and spinning globe were and continue to be favourites.

Exploring our new house

On the first morning in the new house we explored our new house in Slovakia. The most popular aspect, beside the beds, was the balcony. MV and SV enjoyed sitting out there watching people walk by as they snacked on tasty treats. SV was practicing her photography as well, including a number of hold out photos of herself.
