Country BBQ wrap up

As it got towards evening started winding down but we still have fun playing. After eating some supper we played a bit of volleyball, climbed around, and ran backwards and forwards. It was such a fun day and very relaxing.

Country BBQ continued

After soaking in the pool the kids got out and played. Of course since it was still quite warm, some of them ended up back in the water. Too hard to resist. Auntie Lenka was also kind enough to paint everyone's nails which was widely enjoyed.

Country BBQ

We went to Kostelne, which is a small country village a few kilometres from Stara Tura. We went for a BBQ and to relax in the yard. It wa sa rather warm day so all of the kids got their swimsuits on and went for a swim. Some of the kids posed a bit more than others, but they all had a blast. Nagymama also seemed to enjoy watching them frolic, occasionally stepping in to help one the kids from one pool into the next.

Nagymama's early birthday

Since we were all together we decided to give Nagymama her birthday presents a little bit early. It was such fun to be together and get to see her expression. She really appreciated the gifts, but most of all to have almost all of us there. Not a bad way to start her 87th year.

Slovak cafe

Back in Stara Tura we went to a cafe for the free wifi so that Uncle Richie and Auntie Jeanna could take care of some stuff. The girls got to have some babycinos which they hadn't had for quite some time. They enjoyed it, especially since they had fun cups and biscuits to dip in them.

Project support officer

Any good project has a large team including project support. We had one project support officer who was more than ready for the job. It was no surprise then that the team bonding activity went so well and everyone had fun.

Oravský Hrad continued

Continuing through the castle we saw some local clothes and other items from the past. It was quite an interesting tour although MV was too tired and had a nap. When we saw the castle well SV simply couldn't miss out on throwing a coin into it for good luck. After climbing to the very top of the castle we soon had to head back down. After all of that climbing we took a break for cool beverages and a bit of playing for the kids.
