Breaky service by EV

 After her sisters went to school EV set up the playmobile and presented a breakfast service to her figurines. She set the table and cooked the meal before serving it. It was quite an elaborate meal with several courses.

Scooter riding and cleaning

 We are teaching EV to not put away her steed dirty. She appears to be learning her lesson as she cleaned her scooter after riding around the backyard. Although more likely she did it to be like TV who was washing  his bike after his race weekend.

TV's race weekend

 TV signed up for an enduro mountain bike race for the first time. He did some extensive prep, although not all of it done quite right. The enduro race is one when a series of downhill stages are timed, but each rider has to ride uphill and to the stage starts with their own power. That is where the endurance part comes in as in this case the hill up was very steep and quite long. Here is a before and after shot, along with some action shots provided as part of the race entry.

Sushi family dinner

 After TV's soccer match which his team won, we went out for a family dinner. We went to our local sushi train for a quick bite. It was quite nice actually, even with all of the funny faces.

Winter is here

 We've had a couple of cold days now and the girls have really enjoyed getting all dressed up into the warm clothes. It's felt even colder than it is because of the wind, so we made sure that everyone was all bundled up for it.

Finishing at the water park

 After lunch we headed to the park with water features to play. Despite the cool temperatures the kids took off their shoes and socks while playing in the water. They had a good time while the adults caught up. It was a nice way to finish off the day with our friends.

Show and lunch with the Postles

 We went to a musical comedy show with the Postles. It was good and the kids thought it was funny as did the adults. Afterwards we went to a cafe at darling harbour for lunch. It was a bit of a silly lunch but it made it light and fun.
