SV got Croup from some other kid and has been quite sick. She had a cough and sounded quite hoarse, actually she sounded like a seal barking. It was cute and miserable at the same time. Here she got to go out on a short outing to the park and store where she got loose. We had to take her out because she was getting a bit stir crazy at home.

CeCe's last day in Sydney
Grandma CeCe's visit was a good one with us doing a lot of fun things. Here are a couple of photographs just before we had to say good bye to CeCe and she headed to the airport. We can't wait to see her again soon.

Centennial Park gathering
We all went to a picnic organised by one of TV's photography buddies at Centennial Park. Centennial Park is the biggest park in Sydney with lots of activities including playing fields, horse riding and ponds. We had our picnic near one of the ponds which SV really liked especially because of all the animals swimming around including black swans. Being that most of the people there were photographers, there were an awful lot of pictures of SV. She was feeling photogenic in her new dress and really hammed it up for the camera. We ended up getting a few family portraits made as well by some of the other photographers, and some of you may have seen them on Google + or facebook.

Another airport
SV is now feeling quite comfortable at airports. This time around she had her dinner including a giant milk (Tasmania has fantastic dairy). She then perused the merchandise and changed into her pyjamas before we got on the flight home. She even had time to play with her Trunki.

Searching for the elusive Huon Pine
We took a path through the forest to look for the Huon Pines that we heard so much about. They are an excellent wood which is highly resistant to rot and consequently works well for marine uses. It is becoming quite rare though. We did manage to find some eventually along the river where they like to grow. Of course we had a bit of fun along the way.

Tahune Airwalk
SV and CeCe took off to lead the way on the airwalk which is a metal bridge suspended in the tree canopy. It gave us some spectacular views of the Huon River below and the surrounding forests. Before getting on the bridges though, TV made everyone stop and take a family portrait. We then did it on the bridge as well for good measure.

Wood museum
On the way to the canopy walk in the Huon Valley we stopped at the wood museum which showcased the local timber. It was a little bit weird but SV really liked all the children's activities. Especially the drawing with the crayons.
