Around the tele

Sometimes the television is just a bit of a magnet. Other times no one even notices it.

Setting up for the party

KT and TV started the preparation for MV's first birthday party well before the day. The girls though got up and could feel the excitement building. They appreciated the decorations and after a hearty breaky they couldn't wait to help out. MV was very happy to lend a hand outside while SV was in and out helping. KT mostly focused on preparing the snack table while TV and SV ran off to pick up platters and beverages. Everything was set and looking good.

MV opening her first gifts

MV got her first set of gifts for her first birthday. She did not hesitate getting into them. She actually really enjoyed both the opening of the gifts and the actual gifts themselves. SV was also very happy with her book and read it for quite a while. So thank you for the great gifts.

Portrait and teddies

MV is really starting to play with stuffed animals. She is really sweet with them but sometimes it is more convenient to grab them by their appendages. The black teddy is still a current favourite but that changes quite rapidly. SV in the meantime needed another passport photograph so we whipped one up in the garage studio. Unfortunately she isn't allowed to smile in this one.

 

Celene's 3rd birthday

We had another birthday party to go to, and this time it was quite an informal one. The girls had a good time though. There were quite a few little ones around so MV didn't quite feel so small. She had a few more little people to play with.

Going out the door

As per usual we were heading out the door. These two ladies got all dressed up to go attend another party.

Trampoline Bubble Party

Apparently all you need for a successful party is a trampoline and some bubbles. Actually lots of bubbles. Sometimes there are a few mishaps with cross-bubbelation, but recovery is usually swift. You can pretty much blow bubbles anywhere it turns out.
