TV took the kids to explore the other side of the water. We had to go down a ways before coming back up the other side to be on the opposite side of the water from the cabin. KT came out for a wave before she went back to enjoy the warmth. The girls were enjoying the snow on this side and made snow angels. They then had fun exploring and throwing snow at each other and in the air. We felt really refreshed before we headed back inside to warm up for the evening.
After a very successful day on the slopes we were all hungry. On the way back to the cabin we stopped in for some hamburgers. We really enjoyed the sunshine and nature as we waited for our tasty burgers. Although some of us were pretty tired.
It was a lovely sunny day and we all went to Sierra for a ski day. KT finally go to see the girls all ski since she hasn't been able to come up before. TV managed to get all three of the girls to go to the top of the mountain and they all skied down on their own. So a pretty successful day.
We caught with our friends in the park. The girls really enjoyed climbing on the structures and SV really enjoyed making tools. She made a good effort but unfortunately had little success, but it didn't matter. A nice picnic lunch meant they had plenty of energy to keep playing.
February was another busy month and despite being short we had heaps on. We continued skiing, playing with our friends, and some of us learning to cook. Despite it being winter it didn't rain all that much so we spent a fair amount outside playing. Good month full of fun.
SV got to spend some time after school with her good friend EJ. They are getting to know each other better and becoming good mates. SV also got to spend some nice time with KT at dinner, which she needed.
We went down to the Bay Area for a house warming for Auntie Joanna and Uncle Marek's new house. The whole family got together and we managed to mostly eat and spend time together. It was really nice and the weekend absolutely flew by.
