We were very happy to have a chance to see Teta Jozka who is Teta Anka's mom. She was also very happy to see us. She used to babysit TV when he was little and she has always been happy to us and watch our family grow. SV didn't remember her from our previous trip but she warmed up quickly. MV had no hesitation and was interested straight away.

Out to lunch with Auntie Andula
After we visited Čachtice Castle we went to lunch with Auntie Andula back in Stara Tura. The restaurant we went to was decorated with traditional farming equipment and was inside an old mill. Interestingly the mill used to be owned by the Vaclavek family at one point and family gatherings used to take place there. It was really great to hear the history about it and the family. The food and coffee was delicious and we really enjoyed the one on one time with Auntie Andula.

Čachtice Castle
We wanted to visit Čachtice Castle so that SV could see some more Slovak castles and it is super close from Stara Tura. It is the home of Elizabeth Bathory whose story is quite interesting and worth looking up. Untie Andula came along with us to see the castle and for the walk through the beautiful fall forest. She was also nice and took some photographs of us as a family. The castle has undergone some significant refurbishment since we last visited. It was great to see the improvements but they did come with a price, mainly an entry fee.

Evening stroll through Stara Tura
We were walking through Stara Tura with Patka and Lenka. The girls continued enjoying each other's company. It was a pleasant walk all the way to Auntie Andula's house. MV enjoyed getting some more cuddles and playing with walnuts.

Making and keeping friends
SV was keeping up her friendship with her buddy Patka. They played well, in fact so well that SV fell asleep in the kitchen. In the meantime MV was getting acquainted and friendly with Victoria. All four girls played well together and were interested in each other.

Visiting the Vaclaveks
We went to see Dedko Misko and Teta Andula again to maximise our time with them. The girls started feeling much more comfortable and began playing games. SV was quite silly and couldn't quite let herself have a nap, MV had no such problems.

Baby get together
After a good Slovak breakfast we went to see Nagymama and the Juricek family for lunch and we got to meet the newest member of their family, Victoria who is 4 weeks older than MV. SV got to see her friend Patka as well and they hit it right off again. They had a lot of fun and were looking forward to the next day to play again.
