Jumping rope out back

SV and EV were learning to jumprope. Although they started with learning how to get the rope swinging properly first. They were enjoying themselves.

Family ice cream time

Since Grandma Cece is here it was time for more ice cream. All the ladies had some ice cream and had a lovely chat doing it.

Floor lego

This time the girls dumped most of the lego on the floor and played there by themselves. They created all sorts of things from their imagination. EV mostly chucked lego around and then ran to find it. Still effective at keeping herself entertained.

Working on the railway (train)

TV got all three of the girls to help him build the newest train. It was quite fun for all four of them but as usual a snack was required for some. Otherwise they refused to work. The railway union is quite strong and TV didn't want any trouble so a snack break was provided.

SV testing for her yellow sash

During the test SV was very focused and did a great job. She was sharp and precisce with her movements and remembered all of the steps she had to perform. At the end she was happy with her performance and definitely earned her new sash.

SV is getting ready to test

We all went to watch SV take her test for Kung Fu. She was trying to move up one sash grade. She watched the previous class before getting out on the mat to do a bit of practice. MV was really excited to watch her big sister and learn some techniques. SV was very focused and felt ready to go.

All the ladies together

All of the ladies were eventually ready to take some photographs together. We all worked hard to make it fun and a bit silly as it was still a bit rough at first. The mood quickly improved, particularly after a snack and we got some great photographs.
