The girls are both swimming in the LPS swimming carnival and they were quite keen to get a little bit more practice before that. TV took them to the pool where they worked on some conditioning. EV also worked on her swimming and took another big step forward. Now able to swim several metres all by herself. They worked hard and enjoyed some snacks on the pool deck too.
We took Luna to the park again for a bit of a play. She felt really comfortable and made some new dog friends. The girls enjoyed playing with her too and their friends. EV was having the most fun with Luna though, so much so that she wanted to take her for a walk in the afternoon as well. They really got on well and EV was super sad when Luna had to go home.
The girls continued swimming but Luna took a bit of a break. We all went to the pier from which the girls ended up jumping into the water. Took a minute or two to work up the courage, but they both did it. They also then ended up swimming all the way back to shore, probably 80 metres or so. Alas it was time to go home to wash everyone but no one wanted to do go. They had too much fun.
We were looking after Luna again and we all went to the beach together. Just like the girls, Luna had a great time. She enjoyed the car ride and the walk down before she went right into the water. Then she and the girls were constantly in and out.
The girls were quite excited to head back to school to see all of their friends. They really missed their classmates during this break despite having several catch ups. SV was a bit nervous about being in the oldest class at the school as she felt the weight of responsibility of having all the other kids look up to her. MV on the other hand was glad to be in the senior part of the school so she could hang out with the big kids. Either way, here's to a good year!
It has been really warm and her Ladyship has been very relaxed while trying to stay cool. She is still very energetic but her fur is now getting more white in it. So we are really loving on her and enjoying her.
We needed to get some passport photographs for EV and we ended up taking several portraits in the end. The other two came in for some sister portraits too.
