After the cat cafe we caught up with Auntie Cheyenne at the shopping centre. There is so much to see and do there and after taking some photographs the kids found some fun vending machine. We all passed on the cake in a can vending machine but they couldn't quite walk past the fairy floss machine. To be fair we were all curious to see it work and to try the sweet treat at the end.
TV and SV took everyone to the cat cafe in Bugis in Singapore. This time we were not staying across the street and so we had to catch the metro, but we enjoyed the short trip. Once there it was actually quite busy and a bit loud with two groups of teenagers. Once the left it was a bit more pleasant and we enjoyed the experience. EV especially enjoyd walking around photographing all the cats. MV enjoyed patting and talking to the cats while SV was doing a bit of reading and pating.
We went to the Lego Aquarium as well since we had free tickets and wanted to get out of the rain. We had fun looking at the exhibits but it was rather small and we got through it quickly. The exhibits were almost all interactive though, so we actually quite enjoyed it.
Last part of Legoland included riding the big dragon coaster which was good. We then looked at some of the giant lego creatures before finally calling time and leaving the park. Of course we also had a look at the gift shop which was surprisingly cheap.
Getting wet was not a problem for us and so we were even excited to go on the dinosaur splash ride. We certainly got quite wet on that but it was worth it. The girls all went on the pulling tower ride but complained that it was hard work to pull themselves up the tower before letting go and coming back down. We all ended up taking the taller and automatic tower ride up for a great view of the park and beyond.
After the rain we continued exploring the park and all drove the boats along the lake. It was harder than it looked as we all bumped around. The rain didn't stop us from riding the rides but it did quite a few other people, which was great since we could get on rides without any queues.
