On the table

SV is becoming very active and very curious at the same time. She gets into everything and now with her increased height since she can stand, we are scrambling to keep everything safe. Here she is on the table looking through KT's wallet.

Purple pyjamas being bad

SV knows she is not supposed to play with cords but she still does it when she thinks we are not watching her. Here she was caught in the act and tried to play the innocent victim. "I didn't do it. The cord attacked me and tangled me up, I was just trying to get out" she says.

Standing around

In her snazzy purple striped leisure suit SV was standing all around the house. First she watched as TV shaved in the bathroom. Then later she stood around learning sign language from a DVD. She is getting quite adept at standing and walking around holding onto things. Sometimes she feels her oats and stands unaided for a few seconds, or stands on one leg holding onto something.

By the window

SV really enjoys watching the world outside and she also enjoys standing. In this set of photographs she combined the two hobbies into an enjoyable activity. Just so everyone knows, one of us was standing just out of frame just in case of a mishap. After all, safety first!

In the swing

Another outing to the park resulted in SV crawling away as we had a snack on a bench. When we eventually caught up with her, we put her in the swing. It was the first time she really enjoyed the swing and even laughed. It made it fun for all of us. She also practised her standing and walking around holding on to the playground apparatus.

Auntie Layla (Yael)

We had a chance to catch up with Auntie Layla (Yael) in the city after she got back from Sweden. It was great to see her and we want to say congratulations on all the good news again!
She was very sweet to bring presents from the Potipas that couldn't been there. As the photographs below show, SV really liked her presents. In fact all three of us enjoyed our presents, thank you guys.

Pushing the pram

While in the park SV started pushing her pram around a bit while standing. She was a bit tentative but she is getting more confident day by day. Apologies for the at times blurry video, we are still trying to get used to the manual focusing.

On the slide

SV is now really enjoying the park. After assessing the situation she really likes to crawl around and explore the park. She has started enjoying the slide and we even let her go down it by herself now with one of us to catch her at the bottom.
