This year was exciting as all three girls got to come down and look at their Mikulas presents. They were all quite excited and had fun looking through their gifts. It was fun to see them so excited.

Setting up mini trees
The girls started decorating the little trees for christmas. EV was a bit annoyed because she wasn't given a job and was relegated to being an observer. The other two were excited about getting into the holiday spirit.

Back in Sydney refreshed
Far too soon we landed back in Sydney feeling rather refreshed. Actually, the flight was too short. We wanted to stay on board for a bit longer. We made it through immigration and everything in record time even taking time for some photo ops. Once outside KT, MV and EV were waiting for us which was the best part of the trip.

The first class Singapore experience
After exploring the airport we went back to the check in lounge from where we started our first class experience. We had a special immigration gate which had no queue. Then from there straight into the exclussive Private Room. Once in the lounge we had a shower to freshen up. Then we had a proper dinner with SV having something un-adventurous this time and TV having a delicious lobster. Then we relaxed woth some dessert and played games. We got our expressed passes and got on to our plane. We had to sit on the tarmac for a while but that suited us just fine. Eventually we took off and changed into our pyjamas before going to sleep. We both slept really hard until being woken up shortly before landing to have a great breakfast.

Exploring Changi airport
After checking in at our Singapore Airlines first class check in lounge we decided to explore the parts of Changi airport before going through security as we heard there was some cool stuff to see. There were so many fun things to do starting with the indoor waterfall which was surrounded by all sorts of Christams decorations including a super decorated tree and a Christmas village. SV's favourite thing was likely the pockemon store. There was also a massive Frozen exhibit where all the kids went to take photographs.

Wrapping up in Singapore
After the River Safari we went to see Auntie Leah and her family one more time before heading home. We stopped for lunch first though at what is essentialy our local hawker centre when we stay see Auntie Leah. Afterwards SV was keen to take the metro one more time and did the whole thing all by herself. She, as always made a friend on the train who was super nice. After arriving back at the hotel to check out, our new friend Alicia told us just to come back to the lounge for again despite us having technically checked out. We did just that after having a quick look at two more places. At the hotel Alicia was super friendly and helped SV pick out some tasty snacks so she wouldn't be hungry in the taxi to the airport. SV took a liking to her and really wanted to make sure she got a photograph with her. It was rather bittersweet having our stay wrap up and us having to leave the hotel., SV and Horsey managed to put on a brave face though.

More safari fun
The animals weren't the only attraction as there was a video game which was being launched as well. SV tried it but soon went to colouring for her passbook. There were heaps of scenes to take photographs in as well. Although the highlight was SV being picked from the audience to pat a python and get a junior ranger badge. We met a few more interesting animals along the way before finishing off at the gift shop so that SV could get her prize.
