Finishing up the shop

 MV helped TV with finishing up the lego department store. It was a fun project because there were quite a few things that they could work on together at the same time as the steps repeated themselves. The finished building is quite impressive. MV has really improved in her building abilities where she can now fully follow instructions and build things on completely on her own. She was also quite keen to start playing with the building straight away as there were just so many interesting things to do.

Driving the ice cream truck

 MV and EV wanted to go and play in the ice cream truck while KT finished her shopping. SV eventually came and joined them. It actually kept them entertained for a fair while as there were heaps of buttons and other interesting things. Afterwards we went and had some lunch and sat outside to take in the glorious day and nice view.

Shoe shopping

 We had to do some shoe shopping for all of the ladies. KT had to return some shoes while the other three needed some more. They seemed to enjoy the sitting up high and having people bring them things to try. EV was not quite getting the service she felt she deserved and started to kick up a bit of a stink.

Last half of SV's first season

 After the half time oranges SV went back out as a defender and played really well. Her team ended up loosing the match but were rightfully proud of the progress they had made both as individual players, and as a team.

SV's last match of season 1

SV's first season of soccer wrapped up. She played in goals for the first half and she did ok. It's not her best position as she is timid with the ball, but she still enjoys playing it. She had some good kicks and made a couple of stops. EV enjoyed spectating but was even more happy when she had a snack to work on.

Little gardeners

The girls have been learning about gardening at school. They grew peas from seeds to little seedlings and we were now ready to plant them properly. MV and SV had fun filling the pots and planting the peas before watering them. It got a little bit messy but they were actually quite good about cleaning up after.

Two artists and a grump

 EV and MV were quite happy to work on their art after finishing their breakfast. SV was feeling a bit spiky and didn't really feel like doing anything but scowl. We tried not to let it bother us as we went about our day. Eventually she improved her attitude.
