We asked SV what she wanted to wear and she said she wanted to be an explorer. So we said ok and so she got her backpack including her spy glass. She was even happy to strike a few poses.

Virtual reality tested
TV got an underwater virtual reality game on his phone and let the girls try it out. They were absolutely mesmerised. They really enjoyed looking around and seeing the various fish swim around them. It was really fun to watch them experience something new and quite different to what they are used to.

Happy swimmers
These two water babies are really enjoying the water at the moment. SV is trying out using a snorkel to breath underwater and trying to perfect her torpedo. While MV is having fun kicking around and learning to move in the water.

Playdoh mayhem
The girls wanted to play with their playdoh and since TV had some business to finish, he let them have at it. They played over an hour quietly without argument. They had fun and at the end actually helped clean up the mess they made. As a reward they got to play with Endir and watch a show.

Ballerina make up
SV has been practicing her make up skills, specifically for her ballerina performance. MV being the curious little sister was very happy to watch and see how it is done. Once finished, SV gave a short performance showcasing her skills.

Performing arts class after school
Once a week SV goes to performing arts after school where they play games and work on various performance skills. Her friend Sofia is in the same class and they seem to really enjoy it. At the risk of sounding repetitive, it is wonderful to see how much SV has grown. Milestones like this just make us realise how quickly time goes and offer us an opportunity to reflect on accomplishments.

First day of kindy
So begins the next life stage of SV. She is now a proper school kid, really progressing her maths, writing and reading. She is ready for this next challenge as she starts making new friends. This first term should be a good transition as it is still focused on learning through play. As the year progresses the teaching will shift towards more of a formal teaching style which will include homework eventually. We are very proud of her and will continue to support her.
