Exploring the cottage

When we arrived at the cottage we were very excited. It was really lovely and we all walked around exploring every part, making ourselves at home. After dinner we all got ready and settled into our beds for a good night.

Into the snow

We decided to take a little break from Sydney and the usual stuff. We headed up into the mountains and on the drive up there was quite a storm which resulted in some snow which only lasted a very a short time. We all hoped out of the car to take advantage. It was a relatively new experience for EV who was quite small when she first saw snow. Mixed feelings from her, but she did warm up to the idea. MV and SV were quite happy to have a bit of a play in the cold.

SV's friend stops by

SV's good friend stopped by for a play date. We did not see them for most of the day but certainly could hear them. They played all sorts of imaginative games almost the entire time, but as they got tired towards the end they showed each other some of the video games they have been playing.

Table talking

EV and MV spent quite some time just sitting on the table and having a talk. They even had a few cuddles.

Back in a park again

Since things are a bit improved and the weather is good we went to the park. It was a new park so they had different things to explore. It was quite a success. 

Zebra stripes

While we packed and cleaned the girls got to play some games to keep them from making a mess. We got to do what we needed to and they in turn had a good time. MV also really enjoyed getting to pick her own outfit which ended up being very zebra like.

Grumps the pants

EV is now well and truly into her terrible twos. She is trying to assert herself and gets grumpy when she doesn't get her way. On the one hand we really like that she is learning to assert herslef, but on the other hand it sure does make things harder as she doesn't quite understand everything. She doesn't mind being grumpy even when friends are over, although less so.
