Helmets and hats

The girls have been enjoying sitting on the front steps and relaxing. Usually with some sort of head wear.

Lamb time

As with her sisters EV is really enjoying the lamb on a stick. She was gnawing on the bones for quite a while. That was after she played for some time beforehand.

Morning walk

We had a leisurely morning and wanted to check out the local street libraries, so we went for a walk. SV was showing MV how she plays the violin while EV enjoyed a bit of a snack. On the walk the girls rode their scooters to find each of the libraries. Once we got home they were excited to see which books they got and went straight to reading.

Going to the soccer

TV took MV and SV to Leichhardt Oval to see their first professional soccer match. Sydney FC were playing Central Coast Mariners. The oval is a great place to watch games for families as everyone is close to the action and the kids can walk around quite freely. We ran into several friends and despite the heat we enjoyed ourselves. A Mr Whippy on the way home ensured a good end to the evening.

Beyond Costco

Although we go to Costco sometimes, we also do other things on those days. The girls all got their toys out to play, even EV.

Working outside

Another lovely day meant that everyone was outside working on their various activities.

Beach time

After playing near and around the beach the kids were quite keen to get in the water for a bit. They had fun chasing waves and running in and out of the water. Afterwards they played a bit more before we finally had to head home. Everyone was nice and tired from the sun and being outside.
