All sorts of shops

It was a day of running around to various shops for specific items. SV didn't mind though because she found entertainment with Babička everywhere. She liked the giant teddy but he favourite activity was to just read books.

Aquariums and the park

SV enjoys aquariums and animals in general which meant she was more than happy to show a couple of them off to Babička. They both had a lot of fun looking at and learning about the animals. Afterwards we went to the park to burn off some of the energy. SV is really getting the hang of climbing ropes and web structures.

Bath time

Babicka had an opportunity to give MV a bath for the first time at the hospital which was great because she really enjoyed it and TV had a chance to take photographs. MV even got a bit of a massage which she always enjoy.

Visiting the hospital

We visited the hospital because KT had a very nasty case of mastitis which required some heavy antibiotics. Babicka's arrival was very well timed to give us some much needed help. She did get to meet MV for the first time in hospital and it felt as if she came to visit her just after she was born. MV didn't mind being in hospital and she actually got quite a bit of attention which she didn't mind. SV also enjoyed it as she could observe new things like an IV being started. With excellent care KT started getting better and is now almost fully recovered.

Babicka arrives

Babicka arrived in town to give us some help and to meet MV in person for the first time. TV and SV woke up early to go pick her up from the airport. She came through in record time and was in fact waiting for us for a minute or two. As soon as we got home she was recruited to play with SV who was very excited. She also started her travels through Sydney straight away while contributing to some of SV's silliness.

Riding to the park

SV and TV had an opportunity to ride the balance bike to the light rail and then to the park. SV was really excited and did really well on her bike. She even rode it on the playground equipment like a little daredevil. Both of them had a really good time on a beautiful winter day which also allowed KT and MV to sleep in and get some good quality rest.
