KT took the girls and their friend Jess out to lunch at a 'Mexican' 'restaurant'. They had a great time and afterwards got to do a scavenger hunt with a bubble tea as a prize.

Hanging up the boots, for now

SV ha ssaid she wants to hang up her soccer boots for now. She has stopped enjoying soccer for now so these are photographs from some of her last games. We are sad to hear that but she is getting more into swimming and doing other activities which is good.

At the beach with friends

The ladies went to the beach with Auntie Vanessa and friends. The girls had a great time playing in the sand and water. Currently it seems that the favourite activity is burying people in the sand. Enjoyed by most.

Bush walk and ride

We went for a bush walk to the national park despite the rain. TV also brought the mountain bike to have a bit of a ride around while everyone else walked. He caught up several times and at the end rode ahead to make sure that the car was the correct temperature plus all the snacks and drinks were ready to go.

EV was pretending to be a baby before breakfast, but during breakfast the discussion got more serious. EV and MV had a good old chat over first breakfast, discussing a range of topics.

TV's undersea trip

TV had a chance to catch up with our friend Auntie Leah for a dive near Watson's Bay. She has been a bit of a covid hermit so it was fun to actually see her again. The diving was nice but because of the rough open ocean the harbour dive sites like this were quite busy. All of the dive classes and guided tours came to the handful of inner harbour sites and made for a congested underwater experience. Despite that we got to see heaps of animals some of which are pictured below. One that we didn't manage to photograph was an octopus who ducked into a hole and grabbed several shells to create a wall. It was such a smart move, and it felt quite special to see it in real life like that.
