Day 2, making the transition

Our second day, first full day, began with a bit of drawing by SV before a tasty breakfast. Then we went back to the pool for a bit more playing around which SV really enjoyed. We certainly made the most of the pool before we had to check out and head to the other villa to meet everyone.

After a bit of a drive we finally arrived at our villa and SV of course headed for the pool where she spent most of the afternoon. When Uncle Carlos and rest of our friends met us, they had to go and fish SV out of the water. Eventually SV got hungry so she sat outside the pool and watched everyone swim before finally changing for dinner and a bit of puzzle solving.

First day in Sanur

The first night we decided to stay on our own so that SV had a bit of time to adjust to the jet lag and get her feet under her before we met up with everyone else the next day. Of course we shouldn't have worried. As soon as she saw the private pool in our villa she shucked her clothes and wanted someone to go in with her. To her credit she didn't try to get in by herself and waited for an adult.

After all that swimming she had a bit of a snack at our outdoor dinning area. We then had a bit of a ponder before we headed out through the garden and into the city itself for dinner.

Baliday

The next couple of days will be a recap of our recent trip to Bali, although we are now home.

Our flight to Bali was actually quite pleasant with everyone on good behaviour. We ran into Auntie Yos who was on the same flight as us completely by accident. SV is now really getting into the whole travel business, knowing to fill out her international departure card and packing spare clothes in her carry on luggage. When we got to Bali it was warm, but actually quite pleasant and very mild compared to the heat and humidity that we are used to when travelling in Southeast Asia. Our hotel arranged for us to get picked up and even some cool towels and water. It was all a bit posh, but none of us were complaining.

SV is going through and opening her gifts slowly, a few at a time. Here she is modelling some of her new bling and cash. A big thank you to all of those that have given her gifts so generously, we all really appreciate it.

TV's revised website

Last day with Papi

SV made the most of Papi's visit to play and be with him. It was good for both of them for sure. Here are a couple of photographs of them playing and reading together.

Garage portraits

When Grandma CeCe and Papi were still here we had a bit of fun taking some portraits in the garage. Here are a couple of them. SV was pretty good until she got tired of it and started to try to duck out. To be fair she needed a nappy change after which she was happier.
