Welcome back Grandma CeCe

We have been talking to SV about the arrival of Grandma CeCe and so when the day finally came to pick her up she was noticeably excited. SV had a bit of a rest to make sure she had energy when Grandma CeCe arrived. They were both all smiles during the reunion and exchanged both hugs and kisses. When we got home SV immediately recruited Grandma CeCe in giving her art lessons. The suitcases weren't even opened yet.

Birthday package

SV got her second birthday package this year, this time from Eric and Cheryl. She was very thankful and liked all of her gifts. The musical card was certainly her favourite, less so ours. Especially at 6:30 in the morning.

Angus returns

Angus came over again for the afternoon. SV and KT had a good time looking after him. SV enjoyed having a fellow short person to eat a meal with, although she had a more fun dessert. After their meal they got to play in SV's room. She was playing with her new balloon and doing art while Angus mostly watched before he got picked up.

Introducing Squishy!

We are very happy to introduce Squishy to you all. Our little 12 week addition is giving you all a little wave.

SV's actual 3rd birth day

Since SV's actual birth day fell on a Tuesday we had her favourite Indian take away for dinner and let her open some of her gifts at home. KT made her a cake with pink frosting which she enjoyed. In fact she got to eat a piece of cake before dinner, but it didn't seem to have an adverse effect on her appetite.

Balance bike

For her birthday we got SV a balance bike. It's almost like a real bicycle but it doesn't have pedals. They are very good for teaching balance so that when she gets a real bike she won't need training wheels. She did quite well with it until she bonked TV in the nose with her helmet. After she tried it out we took it upstairs to decorate it with stickers and make it more hers. The whole family had a good time with it.

Day time Luna Park

For SV's birthday we took her friends to Luna Park for a day on the rides. She was much more hesitant this time around but she still had a great time. She especially seemed to enjoy the ferry ride and the ferris wheel.
