City Chase '09
To break things up a little bit here is what we did last weekend. It is called City Chase and it is basically a scavenger hunt through the city to find challenges, once you find it then you have to complete a challenge that is presented or move on and find another one. We were only allowed to use public transport or walk/run to find the challenges.
After a bit of posing and stretching we finally got under way to find the first challenge and find the Paris Hilton look-a-like at the Hilton and get our photo taken with her. After some serious running around through the streets and after several interesting challenges we took a break for a photo in the Central tunnel. We then took a ride on the bus where TV shows off the clue sheet and trusty map, and KT shows an interesting picture of herself. Once we get to the Landsdowne Hotel we have to beat the Guitar Hero challenge before proceeding, but such a hard effort deserved a cold beverage. After a few more challenges we thought we were done, but we made a rookie mistake of not reading all of the rules where it states that we had to complete a challenge in each of the three zones that the city was divided into. That meant a ride on the ferry and a hour long round trip. As a result we ended up being 100 and something instead of 20 something. Oh well, it was still great fun and there is always next year. Of course after the race we took advantage of the refreshments. TV shows that there is nothing better after a tough scavenger hunt/race than a cold Nokia beer or two, whereas KT chooses the more sensible option of Nokia water.

Fiji Part 4
Here is another installment of our Fiji experience. First is a traditional Fijian house we saw on the way to the capitol Suva. We had a great meal there at a street after walking around the town. There are a few photos of our resort, including nights photos. We both learned how to sail, and sail we did rain and shine. After the first week on the main island we took a ferry out to a small island called Mana Island where we stayed the second week. We did some more sailing, but this time with sunshine. In the last photo Kt relaxes by the pool before checking in. Next time more from Mana Island.
