For a long time we have been wanting to go see a local aboriginal art gallery but couldn't quite manage it. Well we finally decided to go and got all loaded up in the car. It ended up being a really good experience with the girls being on good behaviour. In fact they were actually interested in the art and looked at most of it before needing a snack.

Art and cooking
Grandma CeCe was looking up a recipe as SV worked on her art. They then worked on their separate tasks over a loose conversation.

Raspberry fingers
Raspberries are a great fruit, both delicious and fun. They fit so well on MV's and SV's little fingers. Then in a flash and a pop they are gone.

Practice with Grandma CeCe
SV was practicing writing her letters with Grandma CeCe. MV didn't want to be left out so she also sat with them and worked on some drawing.

Dinner with Uncle Mat's Mum
Uncle Mat was going to Japan with his Mum and we got to have dinner with the both of them. It was a really fun evening and we ended up having the outdoor terrace all to ourselves. There was a bit of a conflict but overall everyone was on good behaviour.

Going on a bike ride
It's been quite a while since we took the bike out for a proper ride. The girls were quite excited to get on the bike and there were no complaints even about the helmets. Only smiles. SV is really getting the hang of balancing which was a good sign for her being able to ride a proper bike by herself.

Aquarium outing
TV took the girls to the fish store to buy a few things including a couple of new fish. SV wanted a bit of a home day and so she wasn't all that excited to go, but the prospect of a new fish was just too tempting. They all had a great time.
