The wedding reception

While the bride and groom had the photographs taken, SV and the rest of the kids played and got their energy out. As they settled down a bit it was starting to get dusk and also time to go inside for the dinner. Caroline and Gareth thoughtfully got little gift packs for all of the kids with some activities. SV really liked her water colouring book and glow ring with which she was enthralled for a long time. She even had a good lunch as we fed her while she worked on her activities. After dinner SV patiently sat through speeches so that she could get on the dance floor and do some dancing. She really had a lot of fun but at 21:45 we cut her off and headed home.

Caroline and Gareth's Wedding

We got an invite to attend the wedding of our friend Caroline whose son Thomas was in SV's mothers group. It was a warm afternoon and once SV got ready in the car we took in the great views. SV made a friend straight away and they played before the ceremony. She was very well behaved and sat quietly through the entire ceremony, only whispering two or three questions. A snack certainly helped the good behaviour. After the ceremony she was more than happy to run around with the other kids and play. The love must have been in the air though as a new boy presented her with a lovely flower.

Easter package

SV was really excited to receive an Easter package from Grandma CeCe and decided to dress up to open it. We aren't exactly sure why she chose this combination but there you go. KT got in on the fun too and together they managed to peel back the onion of a package. Thank you to Grandma for the lovely treats, especially the box hat. After opening the box SV got into her more comfortable martial arts outfit it seemed.

Squishy's baby shower

KT's co-workers threw her a baby shower at work for Squishy. They had a lot of good food, and had fun goofing around a bit. Squishy seemed to like it too as he/she was kicking around.

Our beautiful girl

We are very thankful to have her and we are enjoying the last couple of weeks with her before Squishy arrives.

Princess cape

SV wanted to wear a princess dress and a cape. Then she matched it with her pink sandals. We asked her to smile for the camera. It may be possible that she has learned how to be camera aware and play to it.

Happy Easter from this little bunny. She is working diligently to decorated everyone's eggs.

More fruit picking

After collecting a fair few apples we decided to check on the pears and asian pears as well. We got a bit more height by having SV sit on TV's neck. She also got in to collect the low fruits too. She also liked to pretend that she was an apple or a pear and wanted us to pick her off the branch and put her in the basket. Eventually we went to another orchard to pick Pink Lady apples. This ended up being quite a bit easier since there were heaps more apples on the relatively short trees. After picking about 11 kgs of fruit we called it a day and headed home.
