Around town

We managed to get out and explore Singapore and find some interesting new places despite the fact that it's our fourth time there. KT got a wild hair and walked around with a microphone all day and SV enjoyed riding around in taxis and playing in the ball pit. SV also couldn't quite decide which bag she wanted so she grabbed all of them.

Singapore morning

Here is a typical morning for us while we were in Singapore.

  1. SV plays around with her hat
  2. Does a bit of work in the office
  3. Comforts distraught Singapore Airlines bear while KT drinks bag coffee
  4. Makes the couch look big
  5. Has a laugh
  6. Eats corn on a foggy floor

Coogee beach Sunday

It was a really lovely day, although a bit cold, so we took advantage and took the bus down to the beach. We had a great time with a delicious lunch of fish and chips before we went down to the sand. SV was not very impressed with the sand though and didn't really like it. We will have to keep going to the beach a bit more often to get her used to it. She did end up having a good time digging and filling her bucket, and on the way home she fell asleep on the bus.

Sweater kid

We are off to school on a foggy morning with SV wearing her sweater knitted by our friend Kiki.

Oatmeal breakfast

SV is really enjoying oatmeal still. She is eating as much and sometimes more of it than we are. It's amazing to see. One of the consequences is that she falls asleep rather early in the day, which may or may not be a good thing.

Hat with a cat

After getting home we did a bit of and SV found this cat hat. She didn't take it off all night.

Potty training

SV has now started potty training herself. She has been interested in the toilet for a while and also trying to take her nappy off. She is also aware of when she has a pee pee or poo poo as she calls it. So we agreed that she is ready and got her a little pink potty. Here she is experimenting with it, chasing mommy and what not. She also enjoyed sitting on it on top of the regular toilet for that true throne like feeling.

Late night flight home

Our flight home left Singapore at 2am which we thought might be difficult, but it turned out to be one of the best flights we've had. SV managed to nap on the metro to the airport, all through the check in process and most of the flight. We had 7 seven seats for the three of us, so we could really stretch out. Since the departure and arrival time were both quiet, the airport processing was really calm too. It was a very pleasant end to a great trip.

The big orange couch

Leah's mom has a big orange coach which is super comfortable and which SV liked climbing on. In fact she was all over the couch and even ate her snacks on it. This photography is shortly before we went out for some shopping and our last dinner in Singapore.

Another babycino

SV and KT have been enjoying foamed milk with chocolate on top as treats together. Of course KT also has coffee in hers which both TV and SV find questionable. Here SV is enjoying hers, either that or she is doing her best Salvador Dali impersonation.

Off to Santosa

Our little traveler got a little rucksack yesterday, and today she carried some of her snacks and water. After putting on her shoes we headed out to Santosa, a tourist island, to go swimming at the beach. We caught a cable car and open top bus both of which were fun for SV.

Mother's day high tea revisited

Here are a few more photographs from KT's mother's day high tea. Enjoy!
