TV took the girls to visit the Australian Museum. They both had fun, but this time MV really got to experience it. She really enjoyed the stuffed animals, both in the displays and the ones she got to pat. They both enjoyed the play areas while playing with different things. Although they both played with puzzle s of sorts, just of different difficulty. SV was actually quite interested in the minerals and gemstones, on the other hand they put MV to sleep. Thank you minerals.

Going to town
TV took MV and SV into the city for a day out while KT went to work. It was a bit of a rainy day but they managed to do quite a bit. Walking through the city they found a good birthday present for KT which all three of them agreed on. After such good work lunch was well deserved. After lunch we walked around Hyde Park for a bit to enjoy the sights and burn off some of that silly energy we all had.

Little shop keeper
SV got a cash register for MV's birthday and they have both been playing with it together. However, sometimes SV likes to play with it on her own. She certainly knows all of the steps to purchasing items and conducting transactions.

Little painters
SV wanted to do some painting outside so KT set the easel up on the back porch. MV felt inspired and joined her big sister in creating some art. They were busy for quite some time before helping to pack away everything.

Sunny park day
Since it was a sunny afternoon we went to the park after MV's nap to make the most of it. There is just something special about a warm autumn afternoon. The girls felt it as much as we did. They both had a lot of fun playing together and with other kids too.

Backyard picninc
Since the weather is still good we had a nice little picnic in the backyard. It is just such good picnic weather that it's hard to resist. Plus it's a fun family activity.

Driving toy
MV got a new toy which is a sort of like driving a car albeit a car which sings songs, recites the alphabet and teaches you to count. SV has really enjoyed playing with it, even more than MV. It has certainly been a popular toy in the household. Having said that, a doily is in close second if these photographs are anything to go by.
