Sushi time

We took SV to sushi for the first time since she started eating solids. She enjoyed eating prawn nigiri (prawns on rice) but the rice she didn't so much like. She did manage to smear the rice all over her face though as she got tired.

Sunrise on the balcony

During our stay in the city our little explorer wanted to make sure we didn't miss the sunrise. Consequently we were all up around 6 AM for the sunrise on the balcony. So what does any normal family do at 6 AM on a balcony watching the sun rise? Why make it into a photoshoot for their blog of course! In any case you, our blog followers, can get some sunrise views AND sleep in too.

Hong Kong dress

SV is wearing one of the dresses that we got her in Hong Kong. We can't quite believe that it already fits her! She is growing very quickly indeed. Of course, she being the thoughtful baby that she is, we didn't have to marvel at it for long. She managed to throw up on it within 10 minutes. Oh well, we thought she was cute.

Lunch with a view

For KT's birthday we stayed in the Sydney CBD again at the same hotel as for TV's birthday. It is really a great place and they take good care of us there. We had this view from our balconies where we decided to have lunch. It was really fantastic, especially because the weather was just so good.

New walker toy part 2

Once SV got used to the toy, she really started to enjoy it. She even managed to stand up behind it. She and TV both looked like they enjoyed themselves as proud new owners.

Indian princesses

We were at Ikea when we saw these faux feather head dresses and decided to have some fun. SV didn't love it though, but we did.

New walker toy part 1

SV got a new toy which plays music and lets her pull herself up and walk around behind it. She and TV put it together while KT took photographs. It was a great family activity. SV enjoyed helping put it together but once it was finished she was a little bit overwhelmed.

Sweater vest

Here SV takes a page out of Grandma CeCe's wardrobe book and wears a bright polartech vest. She was tearing around Vanessa's house along with her friend Harriet causing trouble in her pink hood. They enjoyed playing with each other, although where once Harriet had more interest in SV it's now the other way around.
