We went to a place called Cracker Barrel for lunch. It was certainly an experience as you go through a gift shop before you even get a table. It was interesting decorations and clientele too. We were a little bit overwhelmed by it but it was fun nonetheless.
Dedko Lubo and Silvia stopped by to see us. IT was really good to see them and have a bit of a chat. The girls enjoyed showing them a few things that they have been working on while having some snacks.
The girls all got to try on various hats and jewellery at Cheryl's house. They looked great and all wore things differently. They all certainly have their own style which goes with their personalities. Not surprising of course.
We all got to go see Auntie Becca's house and hang out with her family. It was really fun. The older girls got to play video games while EV played with legos. They all had a great time.
Betty and Roger came over to Grandma Cece's house for dinner and a bit of fun. We started with some painting and then a great dinner. It's hard to pass up tasty Japanese food, especially when Ron picks out a great sake to accompany it. We then finished with some dessert, lovely conversation and some special wines from Ron's cellar.
The girls were certainly taking advantage of Grandma Cece's pool as they got a good day of swimming in. Ron got in on it too as he may or may not have thrown EV into the pool several times. They had such a good time swimming and being in the water in general.
Our friends Kiki and Russell came over to hang out for the afternoon. The kids were playing volleyball and then switched to badminton to take advantage of the net. They really enjoyed it although it proved a little too hard for EV to get the ball over and she found other entertainment. Eventually they came inside and played other games and Russell read books to EV.
