Arriving at Harriett's party

When we arrived SV took off with Harriett to play together. MV was left to fend for herself, which she did quite well. She got around and soon made friends. She was also to entertain herself with toys she found.

Ready for a party

The two girls got dressed up and were ready to go but had to wait for us. While they waited we took some photographs of them before their outfits got dirty. For once MV actually kept her hood on which completed the outfit.

Morning and night

SV in the morning and MV at night. SV woke up early to watch the sun rise and then head off to child care. MV on the other hand was quite happy to keep playing in the evening. We had to remind her that it was time for bed.

Lamp decorating

Just before Grandma CeCe had to go she helped SV with one more art project. In the meantime MV wrestled with her own art. Or at least an artistic bowl.

Quick birthday

We had a combined quick birthday celebration the night before Grandma CeCe had to go home. Everyone got something for their birthday regardless when it was.

Wrapping up Grandma CeCe's Birth Day

There was a big chess board which captivated both MV and SV. There was a game being played by other kids but that didn't stop either of them from playing with the pieces. Then MV somehow inexplicably ended up in a cage. She didn't seem to be too bother though as she enjoyed the different perspective. She was happy to get out and enjoy the big open space after. We reckon that Grandma CeCe enjoyed her Birth Day with all of the activities. Everything including the weather was just right and went smoothly.

Grandma CeCe's Birth Day going strong

As the afternoon wound on the light became spectacular. We also climbed to the top of Cockatoo Island and took in the views during such a gorgeous late summer afternoon. MV was excited to get out of the pram and walk around. SV took advantage of a vacant pram to take a break before doing a bit of climbing. Grandma CeCe had a good time walking MV around as she insisted on walking on a wall.
