Opening the first presents

After finally hearing the bell, the kids excitedly rushed in to find all of the presents under the tree. They were very happy to hand them out and start opening them. They were all very well behaved and respectful. After we opened all the presents upstairs, we made our way downstairs to see if any presents were left under that tree. Sure enough there were.

Xmas eve dinner 2019

We all put on nice clothes and got to eating a traditional dinner. It was quite a lovely spread on a nicely decorated table. Everyone was in a good festive mood. After dinner we all listened out for Mikulas and his bell which signalled that the presents were all set under the tree. Everyone was excited including EV.

Pre Xmas eve

Before our Xmas eve celebration we all needed to expend some of our energy. We ended up having a very nice walk while looking for patches of remaining snow. The wind picked up and chased us back to the house, but it was just as good as we were happy to go and relax before dinner.

Festive morning

We got up in the morning and after breakfast we decided to take a bit of a holiday photograph. The girls were in a good mood and cooperated nicely. EV was feeling quite sweet and wanted to give everyone a big kiss, possibly a bit of a bite as well.

Dinner at home with Nagy

We managed to have a nice quiet dinner at home with Nagymama coming over. It was really nice with EV getting some quality time with Nagymama. MV and SV got to do some reading and generally relaxing.

Seeing Teta Andula

It was a warm day and all of the snow had melted, so it was a little bit less fun walking through the streets. EV was interested in seeing the town square on our way. At Teta Andula's we had a lovely lunch and played a few board games. It was a great way to spend the day.

Hanging out with Patka

We had dinner with Nagymama and the kids made the most of it by playing with their friend Patka and Vikki. EV just enjoyed being held and cuddled.
