Dinner and ice cream

We went out for some sushi which was delicious. Afterwords we got ice cream, but for some of us it was all a bit too much.

Australia Day

As mentioned yesterday, SV had a busy Australia Day (26 Jan) where she had to attend a birthday party and a barbeque. She handled it like a trooper and made the most of her first National day. She was only one of two Aussies at the bbq, the other being Uncle Adam pictured below. SV displayed some Aussie pride with her miniature Australian flag and face tattoo.

Not our fault

We didn't cause this. SV was very well behaved on the plane, and slept most of the way. It was a really good flight.

Pingu!

SV finally got to wear her Pingu suit that TV got her in Japan. It looks really good on her, and she knew she was cute because she kept smiling while wearing it. She wore it most of Australia Day for two parties she had to attend. It was a busy day for such a small penguin.

SV's first flight

Taking a short trip to Darwin. We are waiting for the flight to board and then we'll be off. Fingers crossed she is good. This is a bit of a test for our big trip next month.

Baby sunnies

 Grandma CeCe sent over some stylin shades for SV and she (ok, we) wasted no time trying them on. They are quite wild, but then so is SV and they suit her quite well.

She looked like she was sleeping on a cloud, she looked so peaceful.

Chinese New Year parade

Here is a bonus post from last Sunday when we went to see the Chinese New Year parade in the CBD. SV really enjoyed watching all the lights and colours of the parade. She was fascinated and watched almost the entire thing. Although at the end she fell got tired and fell right to sleep and didn't wake up until we got home.

Green monster

There was a green monster at the pool. We took SV for a swim at a different pool, which she enjoyed but because it was outside it wasn't heated and consequently it was quite chilly.

Another hilariously nonsensical Japenglish suit that SV is wearing. TV got this one on his trip to Japan.

Bouncing Ninja

In training for the De Beers Ninjas. Better watch yourself.

Bouncing baby

SV really enjoyed bouncing in her friend Harriet's jumping harness. She had a great time and it was one of the highlights of her visit.
