Tiny table breakfast

SV and TV decided to have breaky at the little table since KT was sleeping in a bit. It was a bit of fun but SV really liked it. She could sit there without her booster seat, and just focus on eating. She liked the freedom but it's not going to be a regular thing.

Potty training

We have started potty training a while ago on a sort of ad hock basis. Now we have gotten more serious about it since SV seems ready to take it seriously. We have had some early successes but also a couple of incidents as well. SV is coming around to using the potty slowly though. To be fair we aren't in too much of a rush anyway since it makes it easier to have nappies when we travel.

Outback dinner

We've been driving by this Outback Steakhouse Restaurant for years now and we kept saying we'll try it. We finally did, and it's pretty much the same as in the US. The main difference are the prices which are of course higher here. Otherwise pretty much the same sort of menu and everything else. SV was not impressed, actually she was coming down with something, but it made for a quick dinner.

Australia Day celebrations

We've all been looking for an excuse to dress up and so this Australia Day we went to a ceremony. Now that SV is getting a bit older KT let's her do a few lady-like things such as using hair spray. It was loads of fun, but SV had the most fun out of all of us. She got to run and jump, eat snacks and when it was all over she even got to go to the playground.

Baby Angus

For the first time SV had a chance to see a baby in her house for a couple of hours. She did really well, being quite gentle and understanding towards Baby Angus. She even shared her toys with him. She tried not to get jealous when we played with him but she did make sure to get her time in with us as well.

Wildlife Park at Darling Harbour

We got some free tickets to the Wildlife Park at Darling Harbour so we decided to take SV. She got really excited about it and was trying to hurry us along. Once we got there she was pretty excited to see some of the exhibits, although her favourite by far was the crocodile, snap. She was very good about making sure her monkey also got to see everything and had a good time.

Cheeky toddler

SV was having fun jumping on the bed and when we called her on it she gave a very cheeky grin. See for yourself.
