Heading to Melbourne

SV is turning into a little plane spotter. She is starting to really enjoy going to the airport and flying. In fact the whole experience of travelling is always something to look forward to for her and she is always asking when and where we are going next. On this, her 46th, flight she was 100% well behaved. No one could fault her behaviour on the plane. Interestingly during the safety presentation she insisted that she should have the safety card so she could follow along. She really studied it for quite a long time.

Bubbles and chalk

It was a very nice day so TV and SV went outside to play with her new chalk and blow some bubbles. SV is getting pretty good at blowing bubbles although she does still occasionally put her mouth on the wand and gets soap in her mouth. Doesn't seem to bother her though which is kind of funny. She also started playing with her new chalk, mostly drawing snakes and rainbows.

Last of her 3rd birthday presents

After the birthday party SV received a few more gifts which she opened. She was very happy to start playing with them straight away. She and Grandma CeCe were very happy to play the matching card game for quite a while.

Baking with Grandma

SV and Grandma CeCe did a bit of baking together. They worked very well and SV was very happy to take on the role of taste tester. She made sure everything was up to snuff.

Pink present

Ok so the present isn't actually pink but SV sure is. She enjoyed opening another box but it took her a long time to get through it because she started playing with her new book which had a magnifying glass.

SV's 3rd Birthday Party: Part 2

After running around for over an hour it was time to have the 'party' which consisted of all the kids eating and then playing party games. SV enjoyed her birthday throne and party favours. Unlike someone we know, she didn't mind having the attention focused on her but she was very happy to share it with others as well. The limbo was a very popular game but not quite as popular as the cake. SV was very happy with the entire affair.

On Our Way Again

We're off to see the world again, this time a quick trip to Melbourne. Grandma CeCe is coming along for the adventure as well. Here are the three ladies in the taxi.
