Dinner out

We had a chance to do a bit of shopping which resulted in us staying out a little bit later than usual. That meant that we had to have dinner out unexpectedly, but non of us minded. SV did remarkably well. She had a feed in the parents room before we all went for dinner.

Sushi prawns

We were craving sushi so all three of us went to a sushi train restaurant (it's similar to sushi boat minus the water). We knew from a previous visit that SV likes prawns so we got her a dish of them on rice (prawn nigiri) to munch on. She ate both big prawns and dismissed the rice in contempt. Here are some of the photographs showing her munching on them. A word of warning, don't get between this kid and shellfish unless you are willing to risk a limb.

Window watching

Now that SV can stand she has discovered the fun of looking out the bedroom window. She also found a way to knock her dad down and crawl all over him. She is certainly getting around these days.

LoLbaby

We don't have any cats but thanks to our creative friend Leah we can still participate....

Little Dutch girl

The little Dutch girl took a trip all the way to Uncle Carlos and Damian's house. Of course just don't tell anyone that she is actually wearing a little Chinese dress from Hong Kong. We had a great time as Carlos made his world renowned arepas to celebrate KT's graduation and their upcoming trip to Singapore and Thailand, possibly Malaysia too. As usual this was an international gathering with only SV being a real Aussie.

KT graduation

KT finished her Certification IV courses and had a graduation ceremony in Rozelle. All three of us were able to make it there and watch her receive her diploma in education. There was quite a good turnout but as usual a certain little turkey stole the show. She was entertaining the crowd before the speeches, managed a quick snack and even managed a witty remark with perfect comedic timing (by witty remark we mean vocal outburst). We are all proud of KT for finishing another step in her education. Here are some of the photographs from the event.

Organising mum's drawer

Here we see SV reorganising KT's drawer. She felt that the socks were not in colour order and needed to be re-stacked. When questioned she responded with, "What? I'm helping!"

Bunny fufu

Little bunny fufu was not impressed with our late grocery shopping. This was one of the few moments she managed to keep her hat on.

LoL cat hat

SV is wearing a tiny fancy hat. It is the type that is often worn by LoLCatz in popular internet memes, also known as photographs of cats in funny poses or with funny expressions with a clever quip superimposed over the top.
