The second part of the walk was no less pretty mostly because we stopped for a snack and having the promise of going for a dip at the beach. We also had a picnic lunch and an iced treat there as well. This part of the walk was really interesting with quite a few tropical plants along the way. The walk back was actually really good as well partly because we had gummy snakes for motivation. Also see if you can spot our animal friend in the second photograph.
We wanted to go for a bit of a bushwalk with MV's friend Claire and her family. We decided to walk along the Harbour so when we stopped we could have lovely views and possibly a dip. The views certainly didn't disappoint and the walk itself was really nice. Both well preserved and quite varied.
Here are the results of the easter hat effort. We think they turned out quite well. Although EV wanted nothing to do with wearing her hat or having her photograph taken at all.
EV got to go in the backyard to work on her painting. She really got into it not even minding the leaves everywhere.
The girls all got to make Easter Hats this year for the parade. Last year there was no parade on account of Covid so this year was that much more special. In fact it was MV's first, so she was really keen to make a great hat. They all really enjoyed it with help from KT. Even she got involved, ha ha.
SV had a class picnic but we didn't see a whole lot of her as she was running around with all of her friends. She had a great time as there were other classes having a picnic as well. EV got to play on the play ground quite a bit though and some of her friends were there too.
SV needed some new shin pads, so we went to the sports store. We got those pretty quickly but then we played with some of the other equipment as well. MV and SV are going to do some archery over the school holidays so they got in a bit of practice along with EV as well. They all rode the long board for a bit as well and really enjoyed it. The display tents proved to be a little too tempting to stay out of them. They had a good time though.
