TV took the girls to the park to get them exercised before it got too hot. They had a bit of angst, so getting outside and working through it was a must. They had fun although each of them got a very minor injury and then collectively blamed the park. TV ended up losing one of his ear phones there, so maybe they had a point. In any case we moved on just to be sure.
TV took the girls for a swim so KT could sleep after a night shift. She joined them as well though and the girls loved it. After a swim we had dinner and a movie before heading home, thus ending our house sitting.
SV was really keen to have pancakes and has now learned how to make them herself. She had a little helper too who was keen to learn as well. Or at least to be involved in some way.
The girls took their new and old remote control cars to the park to play. They ended up doing all sorts of stuff including racing their cars around. TV thought he took them to a safe place where they had plenty of space to drive around. As if in a comedy EV took control of one car and drove it dead straight into one of three drains. Luckily we managed to fish it out and they continued playing. Later on SV managed to drive her car into the second drain, but it too was retrieved. We were just waiting for MV to finish the trifecta, but she didn't do it. Maybe next time. After all that driving the girls explored the bamboo and other parts of the gardens before we headed home.
We were housing for our friend and they let us use their pool during that time. The girls were really enjoying themselves. They ended up swimming for hours, jumping in and swimming around the whole time.
MV was really helpful as a big sister to EV. She helped her get dressed, brush her teeth and walked her to school. It was really helpful and made our morning quite easy.
We opened up more of the presents nice and slowly with everyone taking turns and showing them off. EV was especially thrilled about her socks and started acting like a cat. We really enjoyed our presents and it was such a nice day. Setsuna joined in as well, in a relaxing sort of way.
