Heading to SFO

It was a short trip but very well worth it. EV really enjoyed meeting so many people for the first time. SV and KT benefited from seeing everyone again. On the way to the airport SV benefited with one more ice cream and a ride on a train and carousel.

2018 Newtown festival

MV and TV decided to have a quick look at the Newtown festival as quite a few people told them about it. Turned out to be quite big so we didn't quite get to do everything. MV really enjoyed the dog show, although the best part we can all agree was the free popsicle.

Saying good bye for now

Everyone came together to say good bye and wish EV, SV and KT a good trip home. EV certainly enjoyed all of the attention and cuddles. SV enjoyed playing games and spending some good time with everyone. KT was glad to see everyone and have an opportunity to spend time with them.

MV the little reader

MV is really enjoying books now. She set out a stack of them to read to her class. She set out several babies to read to and act like her class. She is starting to make up her own stories to the pictures in the book and some books she can remember the story and retells it.

Beach time at Coogee

We went to the beach to expend some energy. We don't often go to the beach but the hot weather was conducive to water activities and Coogee was quite inviting. There were almost no waves so the whole feel of the beach was much more relaxed. MV had a great time playing in the water, sand and exploring the rocks. We finished the outing off with lunch before heading home satisfied.

Spending time with Eric and Cheryl

Just like KT before them, the girls really enjoyed spending time with Eric and Cheryl at their house. For SV it was such a treat to be able to have an orange juice and watch the tele, she felt sophisticated. EV enjoyed cuddles but then got tuckered out and had to have a nap.
