Going to see SV

Due to Covid there are restrictions on who and when people can visit the hospital, so TV took EV to the park for a bit of a play before heading in to see SV. EV really enjoyed the lovely day and got a lot of her energy out. It was nice to have a bit of one on one time for both TV and EV. They then both got to ride the bus to the hospital which was quite nice, reminding TV of the days when he used to do that with SV and MV.

SV's broken arm

 SV and MV went to gymnastics but when TV picked them up SV was in a bad way. She was holding her arm and had quite a bit of pain even though she was trying not to let on. They immediately headed home and had KT confirm what they were thinking, resulting in SV being taken to hospital quick smart. She was examined and her fracture was confirmed. She was scheduled for surgery first thing in the morning to repair the break. SV was really brave throughout the entire ordeal and even joked about the dad of one of the other patients snoring too loudly, making sleeping difficult. Thankfully the surgery went well and she has been recovering. It was quite the experience for all of us, one that we do not need to repeat for sure.

Out for a bike ride

 We took all of the girls on a bike ride along the river and through Sydney Olympic Park. We had a lovely ride before stopping for a snack and a bit of a play at the good playground. EV really enjoyed the climbing wall and in fact all three of them enjoyed climbing all over the place.

Park with a friend

 We went to the park and along the way picked up a friend. We all then headed to the park for a play. The kids all had a good time while TV tried to just sit and relax,

EV in her little car

 EV has been loving getting to drive around in the backyard. Her little car is definitely getting a workout as is EV who is the main power source, at least when her sisters aren't around. She's still working on her driving skills though.

SV's presents for her 9th

The whole family got into wishing SV a happy 9th birthday as we congratulated her and gave her gifts.

Driving a little car

MV found one of the little kid cars and took it home. It has been a toy that the girls have wanted for a long time. When we brought it home masked kitty wanted to reveal it to SV who really enjoyed riding in one when she was younger. It appears that she is now a bit too big. They both still enjoyed it, and when EV woke up she too loved playing with it.
