We decided to make sushi at home as a bit of a fun dinner. We correctly thought SV would combine her affinity to sushi with her crafts skills to have a good dinner. We certainly weren't disappointed. She ate a good dinner and had fun making it.

Making Hamantaschen
SV and KT worked together to make hamantaschen before dinner to make the house smell nice, not because it was Purim. Although the story of Haman from the book of Esther is interesting, we won't delve into it here. After making, and possibly eating, the baked goods we got a bit tired and had a rest before dinner. SV was quite excited to 'sleep' in the big bed.

Sophia's Birthday in the park
SV's really good friend Sophia was having her birthday party in the same place as SV had her first birthday. After having quite a busy week SV was happy to go to her friend's party, but really didn't want to put in too much effort into being social. She had a good time doing her own thing.

Cocktails
Whenever Uncle Mat is in town we always get up to interesting things. SV inevitably has an interesting experience doing something adult. This time she was practising her pool skills for later in life. Her Uncles also made sure that she had various cocktails as well. She really liked her Martini glass one with Spanish tapas. She is always well taken care of though, having entertainment and cuddles along with her beverage of choice.

Evening at Luna Park
SV was really excited to get to Luna Park with its carnival atmosphere. It's pretty clear from the photographs that SV had a great time. Especially when she got to ride the kid rides by herself or with her new friend.

Twilight ferry trip
Uncle Mat is in town and we decided that it would be good fun to go to Luna Park. We took the bus and hopped on the ferry just as the sun was setting which made for a very pleasant trip. On a warm spring evening there is just nothing like being on the Sydney Harbour, magic.

The '787' Incident
SV received a Boeing '787' plane as a gift from one of our friends, but TV was quite outraged because it was clearly a Boeing 747 with its signature hump. To be fair the box had all sorts of crazy English phrases such as 'Tops Senior Aviation Expeditiousness' and 'Wing footed'. The box also proclaimed ' Strong Fashion Interesting New' while claiming 'Flash Lovely Electrio'.
Despite this SV is enjoying playing with it. She seems to appreciate the flashing lights, and now that TV taped over the speaker because it was super loud and soldered one of the wires, and sounds and movements.
