MV and TV took a bit of an excursion using the buses and ferries. They were going from one a birthday party in Leichhardt to Auntie Leah's barbeque in Rose Bay. The trip itself became a significant part of the day and they made the most of it. It was very nice to have some one on one time and just be out and about.
EV is super excited when ever the rubbish truck comes to our house. She enjoys watching the garbos do their work and then the truck to compress the rubbish. We try to go out and watch it when we get a chance. The garbos all know us now and give her a nice wave and a hi.
MV performed two dances with her cohort. They did well and all had fun especially as they had an audience. EV was a bit hurt because she didn't get to go watch MV dance.
After almost a full year of practicing and learning dance MV had her first performance. It was really great that we got to go and watch. Due to Covid it wasn't quite as big of a production as in past years, but it was actually very nice. MV really enjoyed it, and it is quite easy to see how outgoing she is. She did a good job dancing including a bit of improvisation.
EV was really excited to wear her little ball cap. She really enjoys wearing it and the party tooter was really entertaining. She looked quite cute too.
The girls really wanted to do something nice for Setsuna and decided to make her dinner. They cleaned and chopped up veggies before putting them into the bowl nicely. They taste tested some of the ingredients just to make sure. It was a nice gesture and completely of their own volition.
After breakfast EV wanted to make a cup of tea. She got her tea set out and set out all of the tea fixings. She then pretended to make tea and then served it to us. It was really sweet.
