Staying cool

It was a hot day so everyone was going around topless. Not sure how impressed SV is though.

Family walk

Today's photo is the last from SV's first walk and has the entire family in the shot just before climbing the last hill before going home. A bit of fill flash was used to ensure the family wasn't too dark. Also today SV turns three weeks old.

First movie

Here are two bonus photos from today when we all went to the movies for the first time as a family. It was a great experience and everything went very smoothly. SV did a great job, sleeping through almost the entire film. Our local theater (Norton St Palace Cinema) has movie sessions once a week for mothers and babies which are meant to allow mothers to watch new release films with their babies so that they can cry if need be. The tickets are discounted and even had a chance to win a raffle prize at no cost.
Just after the film finished

Leaving the theater

Staying hydrated

When going for a walk it is important to stay hydrated. So in this photo KT is drinking plenty of water as she takes SV for her first walk.

Sasha photo a day

So starting today we will try to publish a photo of Sasha or one of us each day. That way there is always something new to look at, with one big photo and a little explanation if possible. We will try to get recent photos so that they show her progression as she gets older. Today's photo, ok we're cheating a little bit, today's two photos are a little bit older. The first is when Sasha was still being treated for her jaundice and she was sleeping on her glow mat.

The second is just after she stopped her treatment and she was letting her legs get a good stretch in while KT was holding her.

Sasha's first walk

Here is a video of us using Sasha's new Japan Pram, that's our name for the pram TV bought when he was in Japan because it's super light and small, and going for her first walk ever. We had a bit of a hard time trying to get organised, but once we were all set up it was a great little walk. This is from her first week being home.
