Reading in the sunshine

MV has taken to reading and looking through books more than ever. She pulled a chair outside to read in the sunshine while we hung up the laundry. It was very sweet.

A few of MV's favourite things

TV was taking portraits of some clients when MV decided to come in with her favourite toy, her hobby horse. She asked TV to take some photographs of her, which he was very glad to do.

The festa continued

The girls got to do quite a few things since we wanted to support the school and let them have fun. The face painting was a favourite, although the jumping castle was a close second. After lunch and a nap the girls were spent and only had enough energy just to relax.

SV's first school festa

SV's school was having a festa where they raised money for the school. The girls got dressed up and we headed over. The girls were really excited, especially when they got to pat animals. We also found SV's drawing, and her prize winning photographs.

SV's dance performance

SV's first dance performance was great. Her biggest fan of course was MV. MV couldn't wait to go down and congratulate her sister. SV did really well, especially for a first time in front of a full theatre.

Getting ready for her dance

SV has been in an after school dance program this term and this was her first performance. She was getting ready enjoying it. We walked her over and then waited for the show to start. Clearly they had fun backstage. A thank you to Dancearama for the backstage photographs.

Maybe not quite, but they sure made a valiant effort at it. Completely by chance mind you.
