We soon headed back to the metro and the hotel. On the way though, we stopped at a shopping centre to look for some shoes. The girls ended up buying 4 pairs of various sandals some of which they needed. We then went to relax in the hotel for a little while and wait for dinner time.

New horizons sci-fi exhibit
After a nice lunch we went back to the museum to see the special exhibit of sci-fi. It was not quite suitable to kids, so we went through it really quickly and then we moved on quite quickly. There was some interesting parts but overall it was too adult.

More drawing and colouring
One of the next rooms had another colouring exhibit where the girls coloured in birds and butterflies. Even KT got into the action. MV was still a bit upset from the previous drawing exhibit but after a hug she got into it and finished a great bird. The last room was a pretty cool set of hanging strands of LEDs and mirrors. It was pretty cool getting to walk through them.

Drawing sea creatures
The next area included the kids drawing and colouring various sea createures. They were then scanned and projected on to the big wall. The girls workes on their drawings, spending a fair amount of time. They then watched the creatures swim by. EV did a sea horse and SV did a turtle. MV did a turtle too but wasn't happy with it so didn't put it up. We then went into a nother room which had balls of paint which the girls could move around. Then we moved on to a platform exhibit which even KT went on. That was a bit disorienting as the projected ligths on the walls, floor and ceiling were moving even as everyone walked across the suspended planks.

Seeing the projection rooms
The museum is really good for kids and even adults. We first went through the rooms which had interactive projections. The waterfall room proved to be quite popular as it was visualy quite stunning. The girls also enjoyed the slide where it felt liek they were knocking things out of the way. Some of the other exhibits were also really good and let kids play with stuff and watch the projections change.SV remembered this museum quite fondly from 2019 when we first visited, and she enjoyed it even more with her sisters.

Breaky and going out
We went down for a typical Singaporean breaky of kaya toast, half boiled eggs and tee-c. Afterwards we caught the metro into the city to go to the Art Science Museum. We walked through the shopping centre at the Marina Bay Sands and along the waterfront. One of the best parts was the pod outside the museum with all of the lilypads and fish.

Travelling to Singapore
We are off on another trip. This time heading to our Uncle Marek and Auntie Joanna's wedding in Thailand. We are making a few stops along the way, the first being Singapre. We booked our reward flights with Qantas and got to fly in premium economy. Of course we first went to the lounge to relax and book our next flights. Once we were on the plane which was a bit delayed, we all enjoyed the extra room. The flight was fantastic with the crew really taking care of us. The girls really enjoyed the premium cabin. The flight passed quite quickly but the late arrival into Singapore meant the girls were quite tired and ready for bed.
