TV had to work but the girls ha way too much energy so he took them to a park. We are still trying to stay away from other people until the kids get their vaccines so it was nice to find a park with no one there. The girls enjoyed it as there was equipment designed for EV's age but also for the older girls. They ended up making a friend in the form of a grasshopper. It hung out with them the entire time, jumping from girl to another. It was a job well done as they were quite tired afterward.
TV wanted to go check out a potential inner city mountain bike path which turned out to be fenced off and closed. Boo! Instead he took the girls to a park for a play before they got some lunch and went to a different park for a picnic. Three parks in one morning excursion was pretty full on, but is now turning into a regular thing.
Our walk continued and took in a cemetery outside of which we had a little stop. MV had a bit of a tanty but eventually got over it before we continued on. On the second half of the walk we saw a nice little stream which the girls explored a little bit.
We went to a near by reserve called Field of Mars and did a really nice bushwalk. MV decided that she would dress like a model whereas the other two dressed for a walk. This was EV's first bushwalk where we didn't have the backpack, so it was a little bit of a test for her. She managed to walk the entire time and was generally happy to do so. Starting to fit right in with her older sisters.
On the farm we got to ride in the back of all sorts of vehicles. We really enjoyed the low speed adventure, even more when it involved throwing hay out the back.
The girls got up so they could take the goats back out to the paddock one more time. They walked them up and had a chance to give them their milk as well. Both the girls and the goats really enjoyed that part. The girls were then rewarded with lollipops from the largest tin ever since they did a good job.
The girls got to take the goats down from the paddock and pack them away in their stalls for the night. They did it a couple of times and really enjoyed it. They got to be very good at it, being able to put the halters on the goats and getting them to walk where they needed them to. Not quite as easy as it sounds with a bunch of rambunctious kids.
