TV got invited for the Father's Day afternoon tea again this year. EV was really excited to have him there and to be able to show him all the new things at the centre. She enjoyed showing him the fairy garden and the pond with tadpoles in it. Most of all she enjoyed climbing over some of the obstacles and throwing the ball though.
Even though it was getting a bit late, EV was so excited about being able to open some presents that we let her. It was her birthday after all and she had been so good. She really enjoyed being able to open a few more presents and eating a chocolate while doing so.
We all met up in Glebe at the Tram Sheds for dinner. We had dumplings and cocktails, hard to beat that. Afterwards we had delicious gelato as well. It made EV feel very special and celebrated.
After the aquarium the birthday girl walked to the playground in Darling Harbour for a play and to get some ice cream. The ninja turtles were there promoting their new movie and so she and KT got free ice cream. Afterwards they caught the light rail to Glebe for a small walk along the harbour before dinner.
KT asked EV what she wanted to do for her birthday and she really wanted to ride the light rail to Darling Harbour and go to Sea Life. They had a great time walking through the exhibits, especially the underwater tunnel. The dugong was very excited and possibly a little bit mischievous, much like a certain 5 year old.
EV was really excited about her 5th birthday and was really keen to open some presents. After breaky she got to open a couple of them from her sisters. They were all really excited about it, especially her new night light. Also her crown was a big hit.
The girls are each such characters. All the time showing us how close but different they all are.
