Backyard wizardry

 The girls got some new dress up clothes and were playing with them in the backyard before school. SV was alternating between being a good and bad wizard. MV was protecting EV from the magic.

Sam's farewell

 Sam who is an educator at EV's school has gotten a new gig setting up a brand new centre closer to where she lives. Her departure is bittersweet because of course it is a great opportunity for her but she will be missed by our family and the centre more broadly. She has been there since MV started at the centre and has watched all three girls grow. All three girls have a great relationship with her, even SV who never went to school there but got to know Sam from picking her sisters.

Little Hermione

 MV dressed as a little version of Hermione for a party. We though she looked great.

The great chair hunt

 To finish off her room, SV went on a chair hunt. Some would say the greatest chair hunt ever, others would simply say going to a shop and picking one out. Irrespective, SV and her little helper tested out a few chairs and chose one to bring home.

Hairy Spotter bday

 MV was invited to her friend's Hairy Spotter themed birthday party. It turned out that all the girls ended up being Hermoine so the theme changed slightly. In any case MV had a great time running around with her friends. EV and SV in the meantime went to the park and played on the trampoline before going to the skate park minus their scooters or anything. Instead they just ran up and down the ramps before returning to the playground.

BBQ at the Postles

 We got to go to our friend's house for a bbq. After several weeks of rain having a bbq outside in such a gloriously sunny day was wonderful. The girls enjoyed being outside, including playing on the trampoline. After eating they played inside as well with legos and making bracelets.

Still life drawing

 We had a nice pineapple and watermelon which were crying out to be drawn. KT got the girls set up and they all had a go at drawing the fruit. They each had a slightly different perspective of the fruit and then applied their own style. The results were all completely different and interesting.
