SV used a pencil to sketch out a scene on her paper. She then went over it with a black pen before using her watercolours to colour the scene in. She did everything on her own without and prompting. It turned out great. MV isn't quite ready for such a complicated project, but she was very satisfied to work on water colouring which also included finger painting.

Building their Japanese Legos
Having a relaxing afternoon included opening and building one of the Legos we got in Japan. This particular one was a bunny with a big head. They had building although SV did most of the work.

Playing with a cat at the park
We went to the park and when we first got there a neighbourhood cat wanted to play. He let us pat him for a while but then he saw something and took off, eventually heading home. That didn't stop MV and SV who continued to play. They explored and pushed their abilities on the various structures.

Playing trains
TV brought out the wooden trains since the girls hadn't played with them for a long time. He helped get them started and they set up the tracks and town. Then they played for the majority of the morning on their own. They collaborated very nicely to build a functional railway including activated precincts around the stations.

Ballet performance
On their own volition MV set up her xylophone and SV composed a dance. Then they gave a performance with each working hard.

Kung fu training
SV is still enjoying her kung fu classes and she is progressing nicely. She has her second belt with distinctions in kicking and blocking. MV enjoys going to the classes so that she can copy the moves, although she would prefer to actually be in the class. Usually she gets a bit bored and finds other activities.
