Last night in Tokyo

At last all holidays must come to the end, and we had to bid farewell to Tokyo and Japan. Of course we wanted to end on a high note, so we went out to dinner at a place TV went to on his last visit. This okonomiyaki place is typical of Tokyo where the pancakes are made differently to those in Hiroshima. They are still tasty, just in a different way. It was fun to be in charge of the cooking once we were shown how to do it properly. On the way back to the metro we passed a Japanese hamburger joint and we couldn't resist giving it a go. The kids split a hot dog and the adults split a teriyaki burger, both excellent. Put us in a rather jovial mood for the metro ride home. It is safe to say the girls enjoyed the metro and can't wait for Sydney's own version next year.
