SV was taking advantage of an excuse to stay up late and see all the fun lights. Her favourite two installations by far were the giant inflatable bunnies and the talking cars which had all sorts of lights in the windows. She had a great time and was a bit reluctant to go home, especially after the big musical dance floor.

Vivid Festival 2014 Day 1
Vivid Festival is a winter event put on by the City of Sydney and now in it's 7th (or so) year. The festival has a number of light based installations and projections of art on famous buildings around the city. This year the festival is bigger than ever so we decided to take a multi-day approach to seeing it. Every year there are more and more people viewing the lights which means that the weekends are very busy indeed and with that in mind we went midweek. It was still busy but we managed to see things around Circular Quay and The Rocks without too much hassle.

Yay! We read about the Vivid Festival and SO wanted to see it in person. It looks like another unforgettable and totally magical Sydney event. Thank you for sharing your sweet photos with us. We think of you often and send ooooodles of love to you three!!! xoxoAuntie Brenda and Uncle Doug
You may have to make an extra trip to come out and see Vivid, maybe next year. It keeps getting bigger and better. It's a pleasure sharing these little tid bits with everyone, makes it possible to stay in touch a bit more.
